1) It's a very capable system and
2) the price seems to be right for what you get
BUT
1) it's coming both too late and too early in the game
2) it doesn't have anywhere near enough interesting AAA exclusives given its price
3) it's ugly and has a silly name
4) it's nonetheless too expensive for mass-market
I just wanna know if we'll get to customize our spidey, like in Batman Arkham Knight, which I play most of the time with the C.Nolan movies' outfit and batmobile. I don't like Spidey's outfit in this game, I really really REALLY hope we'll get to change his outfit to the one in S. Raimi movies' outfit, or M. Webb's movies' outfit.
Apart from that, can't wait. It did look exactly as awesome as I expect it to be!
Didn't see that one coming at all. Here's hoping Ico will get the same treatment.
There goes another promise about "daz corpio!" through the window. Now, to confess to xbox fans that the majority of games will run in dynamic 4K like on the PS4 Pro...
Thing is, Microsoft have shown their hand early, and now when Sony comes up with their inevitable PS5 in a couple years, which will obviously run circles around the Xbox One X, MS won't be able to retaliate, not right after coming up with what's already a new-gen system (6TFLOPS on the XOX vs 1.23 TFLOPS of the Xbox One, yeah the XOX IS a new-gen system).
True that.
PS2 vs Xbox
NES vs M.System
Game Boy vs Game Gear
Xbox360 vs PS3 (during the first years at least)
The weaker console can sometimes give the more powerful system a serious run for its money.
"Sony has enjoyed a power edge for its consoles since 2013, but that balance is about to shift somewhat dramatically this fall. "
No it's not. The vast majority of consoles this gen will still be the original PS4 and Xbox One, and the original PS4 will still be more powerful than the original Xbox One. The absolutely vast majority of gamers will still play their games in 1080p on the PS4, and 900p on the Xbox One.
In this particular department, although it remains to be seen how, and to what extent backward compatibility will be supported, I've got to say Microsoft is indeed bitchslapping Sony just as strongly and repeatedly as the opposite is happening when it comes to support for modern games.
I knew it would be 500$, if not 600$. It's a good price for what's under the hood yes, but the fact is that, very very few people can/want to invest that much in a videogames console. It seems to me MS is too early at the next-gen party, it's just not possible to offer consoles that are noticeably stronger than the PS4 Pro (or even just PS4 and Xbox One) at a competitive price (400, sorry, 399,99$/€ is where the sweet spot seems to be) right now. Maybe it will be possible to have ...
LOL, MS's next-gen console is called the "XBOX ONE X" ? Then their next-next-gen console (coming probably in 2020-2022) is gonna be called the "XBOX ONE X BOX"...? And then what, their next-next-next-gen console (probably in 2024) is gonna be called the "XBOX ONE X BOX ONE" ? LOL, then their next-next-next-next-gen console is gonna be called the "XBOX ONE X BOX ONE X" ??? LOL, and then...
Alright, I'll knock it off, but damn... HAHAHAHA...
I heard about Horizon Zero Dawn for the PS4 at their E3 conference last year, I'm playing it now...
No they won't, not that much. All you people chanting "Scorpio! Scorpio! not long til it cometh!" are forgetting one thing: the Xbox "scorpio" is going to be a niche. The original Xbox one and Xbox one s systems out there in the wild are not going to magically transform into "scorpios", they'll still compose the vast majority of the configuration the userbase has, only a tiny elite will have an Xbox scorpio (or w/e they decide to name it eventually), so i...
@ Blingblaine
Thanks for the tip, but by "import/export executive suite" do you mean one of the four office buildings? And by "drug house" do you mean a warehouse?
And is there money to make once you purchase a yacht via a set of dedicated missions? I've been having my eyes on one of those babies, but getting to +7 million dollars ain't easy... more than it is to get to the dozens million dollars you need to purchase a real yacht mind you, lol, bu...
Still does to this day, actually, even compared to PC games.
Coming to think of it, that probably explains the reaction some people have with that game. Sour grapes are sour because they're too high to be fetched by some people, y' know...
Just like Gears of War on the xbox: pretty, linear, short, shooter with cover mechanics, yet Gears has been getting a pass for doing the exact same thing for over 10 years now. Go figure.
Bunch of worthless POS punks who do that, I swear, if someone did that to me and i find him, I blow off his f*ckn knee caps and wrists.
"There, you got my games, now let's see how you play them with two stumps for hands."
So on June 12th I just launch my good ol' copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots on my good ol' PS3 again and there'll be an update to download that'll reopen MGS Online? Wish it were true but I don't buy it.
I can't believe they have LBP vita and not the PS3 trilogy in there. And speaking of trilogy, where is the Motorstorm trilogy? Look, I like Driveclub, it looks like it's a very good game and I'll probably fetch it at some point, but I relaunched Motorstorm Pacific Rift the other day, and I just couldn't stop playing it for hours again, lol. The number of awesome tracks, esp. when you have the two DLCs the absolutely brutal confrontations of varied vehicles on dirt tracks, in w...
What's wrong with it?
I like how the voice kept saying "exclusive" when what was displayed on the big screen behind was different every time, like "Xbox console launch exclusive" or "Xbox console world premiere", lol
That was desperate. It's easy to have a longer show in this case, you just sign cheques to the third-party devs so they come and announce their game at your conference first, so as to give viewers the impression, with the aforementioned peculiar cho...
